Last night I stayed all night at the Lemp Mansion – the second most haunted house in America according to The Travel Channel. It was awesome! I stayed up late, I went ghost hunting with a paranormal dude who let us use his ghost hunting equipment to see and record “orbs,” and I only slept for like three hours.

With the ghost hunting gear I saw “orbs,” but I still don’t know if I am convinced they are ghosts. I am sure there must be a ton of explanations for little glowing balls only detected by infrared light and electronic devices (ewww, that almost sounds like a dirty movie!), but don’t trust me – I am not an engineer or a ghost hunter. I am just a writer who stayed up 7 hours past her bed time and played ghost buster… and got really spooked.
I thought it was pretty cool though, staying the night in a place with so many urban legends, myths, and folklore surrounding it. It big time revitalized my interest in St. Louis history and architecture, and right now I am really anxious to do two things: read a book and go to sleep. Pretty darn exciting if you ask me! When we get the video together at the place that pays the bills (read: ToastedRav.com) I will definitely write some schtuff here about it and put the video up! But right now, I could sleep in a chair with my eyes open
Night friends, see you tomorrow!

That sounds soooo awesome! I’m all about the haunting and ghosts.

That would be so cool! I’m with you on the whole “orb” thing, though. I don’t buy it.
