It might be a little early to start my Christmas list, but I am going to anyway!  All I want for Christmas is a digital video camera.  I don’t need anything fancy schmancy,  but I also don’t think a Flip is going to do it.   I am pretty sure there is a special needs version of Steven Spielberg living inside me and just waiting to be unleashed and that is a little intense for the Flip.  I was thinking something like this one at Target.

Forever reinforcing my title as “Queen of Dorkdom” I willingly admit that this first thing I would like to do is make a movie about my dog.  Which of course I want to put on YouTube, and then get all mad about it not going viral, ha!  Here’s the premise: since the recent deck makeover the condo association so gracefully (dripping sarcasm?) bestowed upon us, my pup is now able to enjoy the deck sans leash.  The bars are close enough together that she can’t squeeze through them and run around the subdivision like a mad canine all doped up on peanut butter.  Hence, like any logical dog owner would do, I renamed the deck “Club Sasha.”  I so want to make a sign and make a video about the wild goings ons at Club Sasha, expose her addiction to whiskey and Imo’s pizza, and do it all up “True Hollywood” style.  Yes, you can now officially crown me after you stop rolling your eyes and laughing at me.

Anyhow, that would also require a Mac. Ha!  I knew I could find a need for that computer at some point in time, and what more pressing need could you find than making stupid home movies of your dog?  You know what else I would do?  At least that isn’t as bad as saying I need to make a movie with the still shots from my wedding and force everyone who visits me to watch them!
