Big Ass Upcycle Exchange

I know, I know. What the heezy is upcycling? I get this question all of the time. Upcycling is the practice of taking something that is disposable or downcycled and transforming it into something of greater use and value. In translation: making trash into treasure. Via the wishlist, attendees to the show can drop-off wish list items at the Upcycle Exchange booth near the entrance and receive a coupon book full of awesome discounts and give-aways from participating vendors. It’s a win-win, folks.

Big Ass Opening Night

Opening night of the Big Ass Indie Art & Craft Show should not be missed. Local artists: Lolla VanElla, Clownvis Presley and Michelle Mynx are scheduled to perform as well as Leslie and the Ly’s. Stop by between 7PM-11PM on Friday for the festivities. Admission is free – cash bar.

Personally, I’m a big ‘ol fan of Leslie and the Ly’s. There is just no one else that can rock shiny gold spandex, fringe, and/or a beehive like these ladies. Check out one of my favorite videos from them, HOW WE GO OUT VERSION 2.

Put away the Bedazzler and get your butts over to the Big Ass Indie Art & Craft Show – your sweatshirts and denim bags will thank you.
