I bought the CD when the movie came out and I'm surprised it didn't start disintegrating before my eyes considering how much I played it. Great (girly) movie too! Amazing movie, even better tracks. Two Shins songs("New Slang" and "Caring is Creepy") made this album for me. Also Simon and Garfunkel's "The Only Living Boy in New York" is a highlight. When she came over to visit me last the movie wasn't on demand, so I bought the soundtrack version for kids on iTunes. OMG- I thought she would have a heart attack! It was adorable watching her scribble in her coloring book singing all the songs (with what little language she has control over she sure knows all the words to Dancing Queen) and then bounding around the living room dancing to Take a Chance on Me. I would like to add the soundtrack for Groove for those who love rave culture, and the soundtrack for Requiem For A Dream for those who love hot electronic.
