A pop culture manifesto, created especially for the geek girl inside all of us.

Girls Guide to the Galaxy strives to become the ultimate pop culture compendium from women at all levels of geekiness. For girls cracking their first pulp to those among us who speak fluent Vulcan, we invite everyone to be a part of this online community. We aim to fight the fake geek girl meme and all of the misogyny and exclusivity that accompanies with tech and pop culture news, opinions, and our Girls Giki (coming soon!).

There are three ways you can join us in our fight:

1) Submit links to your original work – Write an original teaser paragraph linking to your work that we can publish on our site, or email us a link for review and approval for sharing on our Facebook and Twitter sites.

2) Write an article for us – Want to write a post but don’t have a site that fits? Submit it to us! Regular contributors will be considered for editorial positions after submission of three articles and a written request.

3) Add to our Girl’s Giki – (Coming soon!) We are in the process of creating a pop culture wiki. More details to come.
